Video and plates

The camera sends video to your system. It does not wait for a connection from the internet.

ANPR WX 4821 EVENT
Example: a car park with ANPR cameras on the entries and the exit. The barrier controller shares the addressing plan if the design needs it. An illustrative scenario, not a client reference.

Event or stream

ANPR does not have to pull every lane live.

Barrier in the tunnel

The open command stays with the car-park system.

The desk is not the APN

Operational view of car parks and plates lives in CerberDesk, if you use it.

What bounces off the edge

A camera with a public address on a car park is a standing target. A video stream also consumes bandwidth that a slogan cannot shrink.

The device is a client of the private APN. Video goes through the tunnel to the video system. The barrier takes commands from the car-park server, not from an address someone found with a scan. Where a site combines a camera, a barrier and link backup, we use a Peplink router.

Security

  • No address the internet can knock on.
  • The camera segment stays apart from tenants or the office.
  • Bandwidth from the operator’s offer, including tariffs with no data cap and no speed cap in the package — on the operator’s terms.

Site video can be part of protecting a service. A channel without exposure supports that description. It does not replace a protection policy or guarding.
